This e-book is written from the author’s experience of years as a yoga teacher, leader of numerous Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Teacher Trainings, and gained anatomical knowledge through workshops and personal study. The postures and practices are pulled from multiple sources including but not limited to: vinyasa, yin, kundalini, hatha, somatics, and personal training. This information is also strongly based on the research done during the author’s Doctoral of Musical Arts degree.
The intentions behind each of the posture, breath exercises, and meditations are explained based on the author’s choice of placing them within the particular sequences. The author advises the reader to practice yoga only if approved by a medical professional and/or to seek out a yoga instructor that can guide them in person. It should be noted that each reader may experience each exercise differently, and if extreme pain or discomfort occurs, please consult a physician.
